How should I set up the camera?
Put your iPhone about 3 m (10 ft) away at hip height, either down the line (behind you, looking at the target) or face on. Keep your whole body and the club in frame. The back camera records at up to 240 fps, which gives the most precise positions.
What do P1–P8 mean?
P1 address, P2 takeaway (club parallel), P3 lead arm parallel, P4 top, P5 lead arm parallel on the way down, P6 club parallel before impact, P7 impact, P8 follow-through. If one looks wrong, open the swing and use “Set here” on the right frame.
How is tempo measured?
Backswing time (address to top) divided by downswing time (top to impact). Most good players are near 3 : 1. If the positions don't make a real swing, PlaneSwing says “tempo unavailable” instead of guessing.
Is there a limit on backups?
Each account backs up up to 100 swings while PlaneSwing is in beta. Delete swings you don't need to free space; swings over the limit stay on your iPhone.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all of your swings in the cloud, then signs you out.
